A career across healthcare and sport
Fiona qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1997 and has worked extensively in both public and private healthcare settings. She has worked in large teaching hospitals in the UK and within sports-specific clinics in Australia, before spending eight years at a prominent private practice in Cork city from 2002-2010.
During that time her experience included working with professional and semi-professional athletes at minor, underage and senior levels. She was the head physiotherapist with Cork Constitution Rugby team from 2003-2008, and has worked across all sporting backgrounds including the GAA, the FAI, Munster Rugby and the IRFU.
Fiona believes that appropriate exercise is the key to successful rehabilitation. Your recovery is built on her physiotherapy experience, including manual therapy, dry needling, clinical Pilates and other methods tailored to your injury. She remains committed to continuing professional development through regular course attendance and clinical education.
